IFA Administrator – City Of London

Our client is a successful IFA practice, with an office situated close to the “Gherkin” in the City of London.  Established in 2011 by 3 partners, who between them have 30+ years’ experience in Financial Services; they are now a medium sized firm that has 13 Advisers and one full time mortgage advisor.

Most of their clients are based in London and the Home Counties and due to referrals and repeat business, they continue to grow.  They offer advice across protection, pensions, investment, mortgages and business needs.

Due to their growth, the practice now seek a New Business Administrator.  The role is a key role in the organisation, and the candidate will be expected to self-manage.  The role holder must be client focussed, self-organised, have strong communication skills and be able to work independently within a small team.  At times, the role holder will be processing several new business applications in a day from a number of advisers and will need to be flexible in prioritising and managing their workload.

Knowledge of financial services products (life, pensions, investment and mortgages) and IFA back office systems, particularly Intelligent office is highly desirable and advantageous, though training can be provided if required.  Also knowledge of IFA Platform services is also beneficial.

Ideally the successful candidate will have passed some financial services exams and be willing to study for additional qualifications.
