Our client is a fairly young mortgage advisory firm that has two offices, two advisors and one paraplanner. Due to their successful start, their office in Hertfordshire is seeking a mortgage administrator to work either on a full or part time basis, to assist with their administration; freeing up the advisor to go out of the office and write more business.
Daily duties will include the submittal of new business applications, the organisation of and follow up of each application through to mortgage offer and completion, conversing with lenders, surveyors, clients and estate agents and all who are involved in the process.
Communication and organisation skills are a priority. The successful candidate will come from a financial services administration background, ideally within mortgages. Candidates from a banking background would be considered and may be an ideal role if you wish to move away from the bank environment.
The team are fairly flexible with regard to working hours and weekly working pattern. They really require someone who is going is keen to remain in the role for the foreseeable future, who is going to embed well into the team and be a part of the growth of the business.
In return our client is looking to pay an attractive basic salary. They will consider administrators who wish to work on a self-employed basis on contracting basis.
