Recruit UK are currently searching for a New Business Team Leader to join our client in the heart of Bristol. This team leader would be put in place to manage the New Business team which Is a team of about 9 people. This client is a very reputable company who are known to be the UK’s leading provider of wealth and investments. They work with private clients, professional advisers, charities, corporates and institutions.
The new business team is responsible for the administration of all new business from both external advisers and the companies own distribution team. A key element of your role will be to ensure that the team (currently 9 people) is properly resourced at all times, and that work volumes and quality are suitably managed, monitored and maintained.
So your role will also see you actively involved in the development and training of the team. The customer is always at the forefront of everything we do so we will also want you to ensure that our processes and procedures are efficient and customer centric and implement change where improvement is needed.
Skills and experience needed:
• Team leader experience
• Communication skills
• Knowledge of pensions/life products/bonds/investments
• Financial services experience
To be suitable for this role you if you have experience of working in a similar environment and in a similar role. You will be in charge of making sure that our processes and procedures are efficient and customer centric and be able to implement change when needed.
