Our client is an award winning wealth manager and financial planner with a UK wide presence. Their heritage dates back 180+ years, and they have retained a loyal and varied client bank that ranges from individuals, professionals, families and charities. They offer different service levels to match their clients requirements, and offer a two pronged approach to wealth management with each client gaining access to their own Investment managers and investment strategies, as well as a financial planner to discuss and plan for their long term financial goals. Their financial planners offer advice on key financial matters including: Retirement planning, Estate and Inheritance Tax Planning, Long Term Care, Life Events and Savings.
Their offices across the UK allow for their advisers to provide a face to face and personalised service. Each office has its own profit and loss, targets and client community, so each office has their own paraplanners and client services to assist with the ongoing management of the client bank.
Their office in Birmingham is seeking paraplanners to join their team. The Birmingham team is well established and the successful candidate will join colleagues who have a wealth of knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will need to be an existing paraplanner with experience of working in a wealth management/ IFA environment previously. The team requires someone who can ‘fit in’ immediately, make an impact on the workload and bring added experience and knowledge with them.
The role will include Research and Analysis, Suitability report writing and recommendations and communicating with clients to answer queries. It’s the responsibility of the job holder to ensure that their industry knowledge is maintained and up to date. The paraplanner must be aware of regulation and be aware of any technical changes.
To apply for the role you must be Level 4 Diploma Qualified in Financial Planning. You must have at least a year’s experience of working as a paraplanner within a similar environment.
