Recruit UK are working with a boutique Chartered Financial Planning firm who specialise in giving bespoke financial advice to their clients in Poole. Due to a period of success and subsequent growth, they now require an experienced paraplanner to assist their back office and advisers with an ever increasing workload.

This is a really exciting role for someone who is keen to expand their skillset and would suit a current Senior IFA Administrator/Paraplanner who has at least 2 years’ experience who can hit the ground running!

You will be working closely with the consultants, preparing and maintaining client files, preparing recommendations, encompassing the client’s needs and various risk factors, implementing recommendations, including preparing suitability letters, proposal forms and making changes to clients’ investments as instructed, and being part of the client review process.

You will have a full working knowledge of all aspects of Financial Planning, have excellent organisation skills, be able to work in as part of a team, and have competent IT skills. Those on route to obtaining the level 4 financial diploma or those who have already attained the Level 4 Financial Diploma, will be advantageous as the client would like you to work towards becoming Chartered. Because our client cares a great deal about the quality of advice given, they will provide financial support so you can undertake financial examinations.

Because the team is relatively small, it will be very useful for you to have strong interpersonal skills, as well as a professional, proactive and positive attitude. The ability to effectively prioritise and organise your workload will be invaluable, as will your competent I.T, literacy, and numeracy skills.

Our client is offering a salary of between £30-£35k per year, and attractive, performance based rewards. An increase in salary will be discussed as you progress in this role.
