I am working with an award winning, leading Tax, Wealth and Financial advisory firm that offer a worldwide service. They have a history that spans over 130 years and have grown to a significant size with over 20,000 professional advisers across the globe, and £19bn being managed by their Investment Management arm.
Completely independently owned, the firm is never at threat of being sold by a parent company or at risk of an entirely new management team.
They currently have 12 offices throughout the UK and their team in London have a paraplanner vacancy within their financial planning department. The role is a highly technical role. Supporting the Head of Financial Planning, you will provide one to one paraplanner support to one of the top consultants in the business. The partner you’d work alongside is well established and has a mature client bank that require a high level of ongoing service. The portfolio of clients have a net value of £85m that requires regular review. The role is very relationships based so you will need to be happy speaking to clients both face to face and via email. You will assist with the administration as well as the paraplanning, responding to clients’ needs promptly and efficiently, whilst adhering to company policy and procedure and compliance.
The head of financial planning is a successful manager that has a reputation for maintaining a solid team and assisting with each individuals development, both personally and professionally. A true specialist, he is seeking a technical paraplanner who has at least three years pure paraplanning experience and who wishes to remain in a paraplanner role for the next 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will hold a first class degree, have ambition with the industry to work in the most professional environment and improve their knowledge working to the highest standard. You will need to hold the diploma level 4 in financial advice as each paraplanner within the business will hold regulated status and have CF30 sign off.
