With a risk of using all the job hunting clichés my client is looking for “an ambitious” “go getter” who is “hungry” to develop themselves and their career.
There is a very impressive salary on offer with the opportunity to double this a few years down the line when you’re up and running as a financial advisor.
My client are a national, Independent Financial Adviser and market leader in advising clients who are in receipt of personal injury or clinical negligence awards.
For the past 25 years, they have specialised in providing support and investment advice. They deliver advice across both pre and post settlement and specialise in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims.
They deal with the relevant professions to provide information and solutions for clients at critical times of need.
They are looking for an experienced paraplanner to support one of their most successful advisors based in the Birmingham area. This adviser delivers a range of specialist financial planning services.
I am looking for a Paraplanner who has a genuine interest in developing their career within the industry.
This role will focus on helping in research and implementing solutions for clients on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will be already in a senior paraplanner position, experienced in the role and eager to use their existing knowledge and skills to help progress and develop the advice given and the process followed.
Due to the nature of the clients you will be dealing with, they require an individual who is empathetic to different needs and able to show diversity in their approach to each client.
The key function of this role consists of the preparation of financial recommendation reports and private / minor trust reports.
You will be using a number of research tools to support your work, including Defaqto, Synaptics and Exchange to ensure the most appropriate recommendation is selected appropriate to our customer’s needs.
You will often be the first point of contact for pre and post-sale for clients to ensure their needs are met in an orderly time frame.
Due to the increased level of business that is being generated by the company in the West Midlands the plan is to develop this paraplanner into an adviser over a 9 – 12 month period.
The ideal candidate will be chartered and have at least five years’ experience. Due to the nature of the role, you can often work with families in sometimes distressing situations, so it is important to have the softer skills to manage these clients. They have a number of professional introducers who pass leads to the Financial Consultants, so there is a good level of support towards building your business.
Part of your role will be work closely with the business development team to continue the dialogue with solicitors, so it is essential that you have exceptional communication skills
