We are working with an IFA that offers independent financial advice for all clients, no matter what walk of life they come from. Our clients appreciate that everyone needs access to their financial expertise and they have no set lower or upper limit to a clients wealth, dealing with the highest end, lowest end and all that’s in-between. Offering a tailored approach to each and every client, they will make recommendations based on each clients’ personal needs and future goals.
Providing clients with retirement advice and having seen an increase in a need for pension advice, they need to grow their team and are looking for paraplanners who have significant pension experience to join them.
Their ideal candidate will have experience in a role involving DB transfer advice. You are likely to be or have been a paraplanner previously. You should have considerable experience of using Transfer Value Analysis Systems such as O&M, SelectAPension or CTC to produce Critical yield calculations.
They are a dynamic, fast-moving team, meeting an ambitious plan for sustainable growth and are now recruiting further Paraplanners to support IFAs and build on that momentum.
The successful candidate will carry out full duties of a Paraplanner including conducting research, preparing TVAS and suitability reports for financial advisors with the full support of an administration team.
Strong organisation and time management skills are essential, together with open communication and a great work ethic. Managing a number of cases simultaneously, the Paraplanner will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, awareness of current market conditions and an understanding of industry regulation whilst displaying a proactive and solution focussed attitude.
Candidates must have the level 4 diploma in financial planning to be considered for this role and candidates with the G60/ AF3 or AF7 will be at a particular advantage.
