We are working alongside a well-established Financial Planning firm in Cardiff who are looking for a Junior Paraplanner to join their company. Our client is going through a growth period and expanding their back-office support. The company specialise in pensions and investment advice where building longstanding relationships with their clients is paramount.
You will be providing support to our client’s back office team where you will be required to provide efficient paraplanning and administration support where the duties will involve some elements of report writing, compliance, research and general financial services administration and data maintenance.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2 years relevant experience in paraplanning and report writing with an analytical and methodical approach. Ideally you will hold FPC or equivalent, be on your way to obtaining the Level 4 Diploma alongside the willingness to develop your skills and qualifications further.
It is a very friendly, positive environment so you will be a team player, hard working with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, you will act as an additional liaison regarding new and existing research for the company and be pro-active in participating within practice meetings. A professional appearance and demeanour are essential for this post as is having strong organisational skills, technical knowledge of Microsoft packages and financial systems.
In return, the successful applicant will receive a salary c£20,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress within a well-regarded company.
