Paraplanner – established, chartered firm

Recruit UK are representing an established, chartered firm who have expanded their business and offices across London and Essex over the past 5 years. They currently advise on over £100million of Investments and pensions per annum and continue to develop new client relationships and become a fast growing company. They now require an experienced and qualified paraplanner to provide support to the managing director and IFA’s within their Chelmsford based office. The role will be varied and requires a numerate and articulate individual who is highly organised and with good PC Skills. You will write suitability reports of a technical nature, attend client meetings along with the managing director when required and conduct whole of market research via a selection of systems, including Avelo, O&M and Pension profiler. To be considered by our client, it is essential that you hold Level 4 diploma, preferably en route to chartered. You will have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a paraplanner role with a sound knowledge of the financial market, you will have proven customer care skills, be able to work on your own initiative and be competent in Microsoft and adviser office. This role is primarily based in Chelmsford; however you will be required to occasionally travel to other offices to meet the business needs, in which case travel expenses will be covered. The salary for this role will be up to £35k per annum along with benefits.
