Job Description:
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Plymouth to join a Chartered Financial Planning Firm.
Main Duties:
- Collect, compile, and enter payroll data.
- Review and verify source documents.
- Calculate and post payroll deductions.
- Process payroll.
- Issue statements of earnings and deductions.
- Reconcile employee deductions.
- Update payroll records by recording changes.
- Prepare and print payroll reports.
- Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications.
- Produce HMRC payments.
- Manage and maintain payroll records.
- Ensure compliance.
- Competitive salary up to £21,000 (negotiable dependent on candidate)
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays (Opportunity to purchase an additional 5 days leave)

- Educated to A-Level / CIPP or equivalent
- Experience in payroll processing
- Good knowledge of Brightpay – advantageous
- Understanding of HMRC regulations and requirements
- Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment legislation
