Job Description:
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join a Holistic Financial Planning practice in Hertfordshire.
This well-established firm is seeking a senior administrator/financial planning assistant to join their firm due to a retiring colleague. They have a fantastic reputation and are always on hand to offer their clients the best service to ensure their personal, unique, and differing needs are met.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting their advisers and financial planning colleagues with administration support.
- Preparing work for client meetings and annual reviews
- Processing fund switches
- The first point of contact for technical queries
- Processing new business
- Current platforms/providers include Elevate, OMW, Fidelity, Parmenion, Prudential, Parmenion, and Nucleus
- Systems used include: FE Analytics, Intelligent Office, Cash Calc, and Defaqto
- Combination of both working in the office and at home
- Salary circa £30,000
- Holidays are 22 per annum rising to 25 per annum (1 addition for first 3 years)
- Ability to purchase additional holidays after the probation period, you’ll also receive a long service increase.

- At least 3 years’ experience as a financial planning administrator/experience as a senior administrator
- A genuine desire to progress industry knowledge and technical skills
- Experience with platforms, sell downs, withdrawals, apps, and fund switches.
- Knowledgeable in the new business application process, in particular, DB pension transfers
- Ability to write low complexity suitability reports (Desirable)
- Software experience: FE Analytics, Defaqto, CashCalc, and Intelligent Office (Desirable)
- Industry relevant qualifications (Desirable)
- A high degree of competency in Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize, with keen attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable in line with day-to-day circumstances
