IFA Administrator – Bridgend

Our client is an established financial planning firm based in Bridgend who are going through a growth period and are expanding their back office.

They are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator who can come in to the business and support their IFA team. This is a small but growing practice who offer financial solutions to both personal and corporate clients where the bulk of their work is within the pension field.

Their ideal candidate will be someone that has previously worked within an IFA environment, someone who has experience of Finplan (Bluecoat Software) would be at an advantage but this isn’t a pre-requisite. Ideally, the candidate will have knowledge and experience of working within a whole of market advice setting where our client’s expertise lie within Investments, Pensions, Savings, Mortgages and General Insurance.

Main duties will include:

· Requesting quotes through various provider systems.

· Processing new business.

· Typing up letters and telephone notes.

· Administer and provide generic information to company Clients.

· Correspond with clients and insurers over the telephone, email, and letter.

· Updating and managing internal database.

· Support other areas of the business when necessary.

To be considered you will preferably have experience within a similar role for a financial advice practice with a good general knowledge of the Industry. Additionally, you will have experience of writing client reports and letters with some financial services qualifications, organised, enthusiastic, a strong communicator and motivated with strong initiative.

Salary is dependent on your experience and qualifications and is up to £25k, plus benefits, with progression opportunities and hard work and loyalty being rewarded.
