Training and Competence Manager- Cardiff

Our client is a prestigious wealth management company based in Cardiff. They are going through a period of growth and expansion and are in need of an experienced Training and Competence Manager.

The Training and Competence Manager’s primary function will be to provide robust performance oversight, conduct oversight, recruitment and query management of the Group’s IFA Network.  The role will also be a central lead in the successful creation and deployment of capability training and best practice to ensure the field division continually evolves in line with client and FCA requirements.

Additionally, the role will include providing support to the IFA’s with any required induction training and ongoing maintenance of the skills required for IFA’s to successfully carry out their duties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular 1-2-1 meetings with allocated IFA’s in line with the T&C plan.
  • Collating KPI’s, analysing and communicating with the to IFA’s and compliance director.
  • Delivery of all field related training materials to satisfy client, regulatory and business needs.
  • To support all induction, CAS and role based training activities ensuring that all IFA’s leave training with a complete understanding of their role and the necessary skills and knowledge required to fulfil their role.

The ideal candidate will ideally have their Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and will have extensive experience in the financial planning industry as a Training and Competence Manager.
