Recruit UK are working with a highly regarded independent financial planning firm in London who are looking to appoint a Chartered Senior Paraplanner to join their collaborative and technically strong team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that delivers true whole-of-market advice, avoiding restricted or process-driven models. The firm prides itself on high-quality, bespoke financial planning for a HNW client base (typically £900k – £1m per client), supported by a well-structured team of 11 advisers, 5 paraplanners and 12 administrators working closely together.
The Role:
This position is suited to a technically strong Senior Paraplanner (5–8 years’ experience) who is confident handling complex cases and playing a key role in supporting advisers.
You will work closely with advisers on high-value, technical planning cases, including areas such as VCTs, cashflow modelling and advanced financial planning strategies, while maintaining a high standard of suitability reporting and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality, compliant suitability reports
- Support advisers on complex technical cases (VCTs, cashflow modelling, tax planning)
- Conduct detailed research and analysis across whole-of-market solutions
- Work collaboratively with advisers and administrators to deliver seamless client outcomes
- Maintain strong compliance standards and documentation quality
Candidate Profile (Must Have):
- Chartered (or very close to Chartered)
- 5–8 years’ paraplanning experience within an IFA environment
- Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, tax and complex planning
- Experience with cashflow modelling and advanced planning strategies
- Comfortable working in a high-quality, HNW advice environment
- Looking for a long-term pathway into Financial Planning
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £65,000 base salary
