Recruit UK are working with an esteemed financial planning firm in Cheshire. Due to expansion, they have an exciting opportunity for a IFA Administrator to join their team.
In this role you will deal with day-to-day administration involved in servicing clients and writing new business. A very important part of this role is to ensure that the electronic records are immaculate and up to date, which allows the Advisers to deliver a first-class financial planning service to their clients. You will work closely with a financial planner and associate financial planner to service a defined client bank.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all company processes are adhered to.
- Ensure that all communications are recorded and indexed in the document management system (SharePoint)
- Ensure immaculate and up-to-date records on the back-office system (Curo)
- Manage and maintain a task list within Curo and Outlook.
- Make sure thorough notes added to track progress.
- New business processing, completing forms and submitting to financial product providers.
- Producing valuations
- Production of Annual Planning Meeting (APM) preparation pack.
- General administration and processing.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to demonstrate ownership & independence in previous roles
- Experience of Curo and SharePoint desirable
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise work effectively.
- Experience of dealing with demanding clients.
Experience with:
- Ability to read, digest and assimilate information
- Highly organised, methodical, analytical and disciplined
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure on occasions to achieve deadlines
- Ensuring quality of work is of a high standard
- A client-focused approach, with a commitment to excellence and relationship-building.
