Job Description:

Recruit UK are working with a Chartered Financial Planning firm seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to take over an established and high-quality client book.

 

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a small, highly respected firm that prides itself on providing truly client-centric, holistic advice, across the Midlands and beyond.

 

The firm offers a broad range of services across two divisions:

  • A strong, loyal IFA client book offering long-term relationships and ongoing service; and
  • A bespoke UHNW proposition with discretionary permissions, offering complex, high-touch financial planning for HNW and UHNW clients.

 

You’ll be supported by a dedicated Paraplanner and Administrator, ensuring you can focus on client relationships and advice delivery. This is an ideal role for someone who values autonomy, trust, and a grown-up working environment.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience as an Independent Financial Adviser / Financial Planner
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Chartered preferred but not essential)
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Technically proficient with a broad understanding of holistic financial planning
  • Self-motivated, ethical, and committed to delivering excellent client outcomes

Due to the nature of recruitment, a significant number of candidates reconnect with our organisation periodically. It is not uncommon for this to occur years after we have placed them in a role. For this reason, your consent includes explicit consent to retain your personal details until you wish us to delete your records from our database or refrain from further engagement.

There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover our administrative costs in responding.

We will respond to your subject access request within 14 days and, in any case, not more than one month of receiving it. Normally, we aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your personal data within that time.
