An established and highly respected Financial Planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-focused individual who enjoys delivering high-quality, compliant advice support within a professional and well-structured advisory environment.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience within a financial services firm, including direct paraplanning experience. Ideally, you will be Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning (or equivalent), or working towards achieving this within the coming months. You will possess strong numerical, analytical, written, and communication skills, along with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential, and experience using Intelliflo (or similar back-office systems) would be highly advantageous.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of investment and pension products, alongside the ability to interpret complex client scenarios and apply appropriate research and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed pre-meeting packs, including client schedules, portfolio valuations, and performance summaries
- Producing high-quality, compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, and retirement planning
- Undertaking in-depth research of funds, products, and providers to support adviser recommendations
- Completing all necessary documentation to implement investment and pension business
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on the back-office system
- Supporting advisers in delivering a smooth and efficient client journey
- Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal governance processes
