Job Description:
Recruit UK is working on an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a respectable Wealth Management Company.
They are looking to hire for the long-term, so have an excellent benefits package, treat their staff well and are able to offer professional development and career progression opportunities.
They are actively seeking a Junior Paraplanner, someone who’s an experienced Paraplanner or a Senior Client Administrator who’s looking to step up and join their paraplanning team supporting their Financial Advisers.
Their paraplanners provide research and analysis and quality written suitability reports to support the delivery of first-class holistic financial planning.
The successful applicant will be required to provide Paraplanning support, working within agreed business objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- To provide technical and research support to the planners
- To assist the support team and compliance department when required
- Prepare suitability reports and summary of recommendations for processing team
- Question the planner’s recommendations if applicable
- Learn and maintain an understanding of firms centralised investment proposition
- Ensure client records are maintained correctly on IO
Skills and experience required: Paraplanner
- Paraplanning experience
- Level 4 Diploma or 3 years plus experience without Dip Level 4
- Senior Client Administrator

Skills and experience required:
Dip Fa or
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., ICA Diploma in Compliance) is preferred.
- Proven experience working in a compliance role within a financial services firm, preferably in an FCA-regulated environment.
- In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations, regulatory requirements, and compliance best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and compliance management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
