About the Role:

Recruit UK is working on behalf of a leading financial planning firm who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from home while supporting a network of highly skilled financial advisers

 

Please note: You would need to go to the Southport office initially while getting up and running.

 

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support, producing compliant suitability reports, and ensuring clients receive an exceptional service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports and recommendations.
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis on financial products.
  • Supporting advisers with technical queries and financial planning solutions.
  • Reviewing client files to ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing client information systems.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and standards within the team.

 

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within financial services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
  • Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS/Equivalent) qualified, or working towards this.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads independently.
  • Comfortable working remotely, with strong self-motivation and discipline.

6. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?

Due to the nature of recruitment, a significant number of candidates reconnect with our organisation periodically. It is not uncommon for this to occur years after we have placed them in a role. For this reason, your consent includes explicit consent to retain your personal details until you wish us to delete your records from our database or refrain from further engagement.

9. How Can I Access My Personal Data?

If you want to know what personal data we have about you, you can ask us for details of that personal data and for a copy of it (where any such personal data is held). This is known as a “subject access request”.All subject access requests should be made in writing and sent to the email or postal addresses shown below.

There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover our administrative costs in responding.

We will respond to your subject access request within 14 days and, in any case, not more than one month of receiving it. Normally, we aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your personal data within that time.
