Recruit UK is working on an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Paraplanner to join a well-established and highly regarded financial planning firm based in Solihull.
This is an exciting chance to become part of a well-established financial planning company that specialises in providing tailored financial advice to a niche group of professionals. The firm prides itself on building long-term client relationships and delivering a high standard of service, underpinned by deep expertise in their field.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Trainee Paraplanner to their existing team. You will work alongside two experienced paraplanners, supporting them across a varied workload that includes both straightforward and complex cases. Responsibilities will cover areas such as investment analysis, ISAs, pensions, inheritance tax planning, and more complex investment solutions.
The firm uses a range of industry systems and platforms, including FE Analytics, Intelligent Office, Novia, Embark, Octopus, VCTs, and Royal London. You’ll initially be working in a pool of paraplanner’s, however the focus in the long run, is to work 1:1 more closely with one of the advisers.

Skills and experience required:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Administrator within an Independent Financial Adviser
  • Level 4 Diploma is desirable (however if you are studying toward this, this is fine)
  • Desire to study industry-relevant qualifications
  • Previous suitability report-writing experience (required)
  • Ability to prioritize your own workload

6. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?

Due to the nature of recruitment, a significant number of candidates reconnect with our organisation periodically. It is not uncommon for this to occur years after we have placed them in a role. For this reason, your consent includes explicit consent to retain your personal details until you wish us to delete your records from our database or refrain from further engagement.

There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover our administrative costs in responding.
