Job Role: Client Administrator – Review Team
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to £28,000
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Are you looking for a great opportunity to build a career in the Financial Services sector? We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join the Review Team and provide effective administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills and gain experience within a fast-paced and rewarding industry. This is a Client Services Administrator role (Officially referred to as a Client Review Analyst).
You will be working for a chartered financial planning firm with a passion for developing the workforce and pushing boundaries in the Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Annual Reviews: Produce and issue annual review packs by obtaining valuations, performance information, and charges disclosures.
- Investment Risk Questionnaires (IRQs) & Fact Finds: Issue, track, and update client data, chasing clients via email, post, or telephone if required.
- System Maintenance: Upload client data from various sources into the back-office system to ensure accuracy.
- Group Scheme Administration: Liaise with employers for staff data, create annual review packs for Group Pension Plan (GPP) members, and coordinate follow-up meetings with advisers.
- Suitability Assessments: Write simplified Annual Suitability Assessment Letters following client reviews.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Checks: Run and save AML checks using Smartsearch.
- General Administration: Manage incoming calls, greet visitors, handle post, maintain reception areas, calculate client fees, and issue client agreements via post or Docusign.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong academic background with a minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
- A basic understanding of Pensions and Investments.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional telephone manner.
- Willingness to learn and undertake ad hoc tasks.
- Ability to interact politely and courteously with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an IFA practice, especially with Pensions and Investments.
- Working towards or holding a Level 3 Certificate in Financial Services.
- A degree in financial services-related fields such as Banking, Economics, Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience with tools such as FE Analytics, Smartsearch, Dynamic Planner, XPlan, and Provider websites.
- Experience processing a client ‘Annual Review Pack.
