About the Role:
Recruit UK is seeking a Bereavement Administration Specialist to join a rapidly growing Wealth Management company in Northwich. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support following the passing of a client whose funds are managed by the company. Working closely with colleagues, you will be a key team member, ensuring an efficient and sensitive handling of the bereavement process with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all stages of the Bereavement Administration process from initial notification, through system updates and document preparation, to the final processing of deceased estates instructions, within agreed SLAs. Take ownership and accountability of a defined book of deceased clients.
- Maintain direct contact with clients and deceased representatives both by phone and in writing, covering various aspects to always ensure excellent service.
- Liaise closely with internal teams and departments to deliver seamless and sensitive client service.
- Support the collation of departmental statistics on a daily and monthly basis, where required.
- Raise any areas of concern promptly to your Line Manager.
- Ensure compliance with and update all departmental procedures as necessary.

What They are Looking for:
- Previous experience within the Wealth Management and Financial Services industry
- Previous Bereavement Administration experience (desirable).
- Keen attention to detail with both system and non-system tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the regulatory framework.
- Comply fully with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures governing business conduct, including FCA principles, Compliance Manual, and Group policies.
