I have a fantastic opportunity with my client, who is a chartered accountancy and wealth practice. They have offices situated across the South West and currently seek to expand their Burnham on Sea based outsourced Finance team, with an experienced Bookkeeper.
Working on your own portfolio of small sole trade to multi-million-pound turnover limited companies, the main duties of the book keeper will be:
- To process sales and purchase invoices.
- To prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.
- To process basic monthly journals.
- To prepare VAT returns.
- Preparation of client management accounts alongside the Outsourced Finance Manager.
To be considered for this position, you will have gained at least 1 years experience in a similar book keeping role, will be confident in using Sage 50 and will be conversant in all Microsoft programmes, including excel.
This is a team and service orientated role so you must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently in a clear and concise manner. Although primarily based within the Weymouth Office, there may be an element of the role that will require you to visit different client sites.
