Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Manager in Canterbury, Kent to join a Financial Planning practice.
This well-established business offers a truly integrated financial planning service to HNW private and corporate clientele from their head office in Canterbury.
You will be assisting the compliance director in managing all of the compliance and oversight for the business. You will be assessing the work being produced for their clients and ensuring their high standards are maintained. They have a commitment to the highest levels of professionalism. This means you must be highly experienced in the advisory process and have extensive experience of suitability report production, ideally with knowledge of Trusts, IHT Planning, Pensions, Investments and Wealth Management.
You will provide technical support and assistance to the advisory team and so a good knowledge of current legislation is necessary, and you will be involved in assisting with the technical training of staff.
This role will offer the right individual a dynamic role with a variety of responsibilities and getting hands-on with some of the more technical cases the industry has to offer.
The opportunity:
Due to the expansion of the financial planning division, this practice has an opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join the team and take on a range of interesting responsibilities.
This position would suit an experienced Paraplanner who is looking to take on that next challenge into a more supervisory position, enjoys the variety of technically challenging cases for HNW clients and training individuals in technical cases.

- Broad technical knowledge of financial planning products and services
- Highly experienced in the advisory process and have extensive experience of suitability report production
- Previous experience working on Trusts, IHT Planning, Pensions, Investments and Wealth Management.
- Hold Chartered status, or have progression towards this is advantageous
