Job Description:
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Oversight and Risk Officer in Bristol.
Our client is a well-established and successful Financial Planning firm on the outskirts of Bristol. As they continue to grow their practice, they are looking for compliance oversight and risk officer to join their compliance team. You will work directly with the head of compliance and be at the heart of the company.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Assist Head of Compliance
- Support in the delivery of T&C Scheme requirements
- Prepare stats on KPIs
- Maintain and update the T&C scheme
- Assist in introducing new advisers and admin staff
- Help prepare stats for bi-annual returns to FCA and data collection for RMAR
- Maintain and update AML procedure
- Organise and participate in training and re-training
- Continue to maintain knowledge of legislation changes,

Skills and experience required:
- Level 4 qualified, or working towards
- Experience in a Compliance and Risk officer role
- Good working knowledge of Financial Planning products
