Job Description:
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Mortgage Administrator in Brighton to join a Financial Advice practice.
This company is one of the South East’s leading Financial Planning firms and is based near Brighton. They were established over 30 years ago and have since become one of the most successful Financial Planning firms advising clients on a variety of aspects of financial advice. As a result of their expanding success, this client is now looking for an administrator to join them.
Duties will include:
- Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients’ homes or business premises.
- Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products.
- Liaising with financial services providers and other professionals.
- Working with clients, including; handling any queries regarding fees and chasing offers.
- Assessing the validity of documents and cross-reference to verify.
- Liaising with underwriters, solicitors, accountants and estate agents.
- Proactively progressing individual cases from mortgage application through to completion
- Problem-solving when required to move purchases and re-mortgages along
- Maintaining a positive relationship with customers and Mortgage Consultants
- Working to deadlines to ensure customers achieve their dream move
- Maintaining compliance with the FCA rules and principles and Code of practice.
- Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided, and also the advised products.
- Ensure we meet the expectations of the FCA with regards to treating customers fairly.
- Salary range £18,000 – £26,000
