Job Description:
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner to join a continuously growing and expanding Wealth Management firm. With offices located around the Midlands and further South, they are ready to welcome a Paraplanner into their Birmingham office.
They put their clients at the heart of everything they do, to ensure they are provided with the highest quality service available when providing holistic financial advice. This company runs their own fund solutions investment committee which you have the choice to join and develop your skillset here.
You will be an experienced Paraplanner, supporting the IFA’s with research, analysis and reports. You will have the opportunity to utilize your paraplanner skills and be at the core of the planning process with a strong integration on compliance. This role offers vertical integration of things you can do with great versatility of responsibility. No glass ceilings here.
- Working with the advisors to fulfil client objectives and identify any shortfalls
- Request, review and analyse information to produce financial reports
- Research and acquire information and comparisons for analysis
- Allocate assets for investment strategy
- POC for client queries and work directly with IFA’s
- Wills and trusts with space to develop into estate planning
- Ensuring FCA regulations and compliance are met
- Support with ad hoc projects and tasks where required
- 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays and increases with service)
- Salaries up to £42,000 (flexible dependent on experience)

- Minimum Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning (CII) or Level 4 qualified
- Complete understanding of the Financial Planning process
- Experience using various software tools (IO/Morning Start/Dynamic Planner)
- Experience with Transact and Aviva (familiarity with Aegon and Old Mutual)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
