Our client is an ambitious and fast growing, independent financial adviser and wealth manager with offices based in several locations across the Midlands. They offer a personal and fee-based service to clients who are seeking advice across a range of financial subjects. They are actively seeking to grow their client book and employ a dedicated developer to increase their professional relationships, helping to bring on new clients. This, in turn, creates new business leads for their existing team of financial planners and in turn keeps their support team incredibly busy.
Due to their continual expansion, the support team requires a technical and experienced paraplanner to join the company and hit the ground running. There is currently one paraplanner in place to support eight financial advisers, which is not sufficient enough and so finding the right candidate is of high importance and a priority.
The role requires someone to prepare and maintain client files, prepare and implement recommendations, carry out cashflow forecasts and review client files ensuring that the risk and return profile remains suitable to the client’s needs. You will also be expected to consider the current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy, with regard to the client’s risk and return profile. You will have the knowledge and experience to help identify suitable solutions for individual client needs. You will need to hold the Diploma Level 4 in Financial Services either through the CII or IFS.
