Job Description:
Recruit UK is working on a fantastic opportunity for a Protection Adviser in Bristol to join one of the UK’s leading and rapidly growing wealth management firms.
Our clients are pioneers in the dual professional, Financial Planning, and Investment Management model and have a highly developed client proposition. Within this role, you will work with key clients to support their protection and annuity needs.
They are seeking a confident, experienced professional to expand their desk-based protection advice team. They are looking for confident financial services professionals who are looking to build their careers as a specialist in this field.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Build relationships and maintain them with new and existing clients
- Be a point of contact for all client’s current and new business queries
- Research and resolve all issues in a timely manner
- Maintain client records
- Prepare and issue advice reports
- Request policy information from third-party providers
- Coordinate and produce client communications as part of the advice delivery and implementation process
- Maintain client records and systems in accordance with internal compliance requirements
- Prioritize workload to ensure all activities are timely, compliant, and conducted in a manner that will meet agreed performance standards
- Deliver outstanding service to clients
- Keep up to date with regulations, compliance, and legislative obligations
- Salary £40,000 – £60,000 (negotiable d.o.e)
- Regular salary reviews and increases available upon CAS

- Comprehensive training
- Full Level 4 Diploma (necessary)
- 2-5 year’s experience in financial services
- Min 1-year experience in Protection advice
- Knowledge of annuities
- Ability to communicate effectively over phone/email/online
- Strong client support skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Highly motivated with the strong work ethic
