Job Description:
Recruit UK is working on an excellent opportunity for a Training & Competency Manager in Birmingham.
This Independent Financial Advice company has offices across the UK, with one of its most successful offices based in Birmingham. They are looking for a Training & Competency manager to work alongside their Head of Professional Development, to support the firm with training and competency schemes.
This is a super exciting opportunity to have an impact on how the firm offers progression to advisers.
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Working closely with senior management to assist in developing and delivering training programs.
- Design and implement national training and support materials
- Provide tailored coaching to advisers and supervisors
- Conduct roleplays in order to assess advisers’ competence and deliver training is required
- Responsible for advisers’ ongoing competency under SMCR
- Assist with the delivery of company inductions and support new entrants

Skills and experience required:
- Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally an advanced diploma
- Experience working in a regulated financial service environment
- Previous experience in a T&C role within Wealth Management
