Recruit UK is working on an excellent opportunity for a Welfare Benefits Advisor role in Manchester to join a well-established UK Independent Financial Advice firm that specializes in Personal Injury and Court of Protection clients (PICOPs).
My client is a leading UK wealth management and private client financial advice firm. They are looking for a successful candidate to has a very thorough knowledge of the benefits review system, ideally having come from a like-for-like background with PICOP experience.
You will provide advice to clients, professional connections, and colleagues within the welfare benefits system. Your responsibilities will include writing required reports, conducting file reviews, assessing benefit entitlements, and providing representation at tribunals.
Your day-to-day will be doing reviews for clients/solicitors, submissions to courts, and also being a rep for court proceedings. This is a very fast-paced and busy role, so you will need to be proactive and work well under stress with an incredible eye for detail when dealing with such important/sensitive documents.

Skills and experience required:
- Knowledge of the benefits system, welfare rights and entitlements, application processes, and eligibility criteria.
- Knowledge and experience in dealing with clients who have been awarded personal injury damages and have been appointed a Deputy or are beneficiaries of a Personal Injury Trust.
